A (maybe) disturbing question: What caste are the "famous" indians we all know in tech, e.g. CEOs of Microsoft and Google? Is it known?

Most educated Hindus (in India and abroad) do not identify themselves with any Caste.
But their family still belongs/belonged to some caste, e.g. when they were born. No?
Not relevant since they have chosen to not identify with it.
