The secret is naltrexone. Talk to your doctor. Sinclair Method. No app can help with the wiring issue.

I am on low dose naltrexone (3.5mg instead of maybe 50mg) for fatigue and I swear it has reduced my desire for alcohol alot. I wasn’t a heavy drinker but now I bearly drink. A beer at home to wind down now feels like a chore!
I kinda want to experiment with using it maybe lower dosage for other activities or things I find—let's say, overly compelling...
Kombucha is also very satiating in terms of the appetite for drinking. Hits almost the same spots
I can't tell for everybody, and indeed my app probably doesn't help people with hard alcoholism. But it actually helps people who want to track alcohol to control the consumption, results are here.
It can actually help with that, counting drinks is an important aspect of Sinclair. If you make it super easy/intuitive with widgets and such and have the privacy "Checkmark" meaning "no data collected", you got a paid Sinclair method assistant app.

Add in a dose- drink timer/alarm (90 minutes)

If I think of anything else I'll DM you or comment further.

Also, try to avoid subscriptions unless its literally like 0.50/month and there's an option to buy it out at like $10 or whatever
Also, you should still try to appeal to AUD since its arguably far more ubiquitous and somewhat less life-threatening than straight-up hard-A alcoholism.
