Honestly I hope they come to desktops and servers too. The performance of full size ddr5 dimms seems OK for now, but it must be close to its limit if SODIMMs are already past their limit.
Oh wow, LPCAMM sounds like a dream!
According to the article this form factor is incompatible with normal CAMMs, let's hope that gets figured out and standardized before long. (And actually gets applied throughout the market!)
