Kennedy and Khrushchev demonstrated they could work together to defuse the Cold War. Both were cancelled (one rather more permanently than the other) soon after. Both these cancellations were no doubt accidental, but these accidents did happen to benefit hardliners in both the 1st and 2nd worlds.
The crazier conspiracy, for me, is the MLK assassination. Wedigoon made a video about the odd occurrences.
