Condemning aggressive settlers is easy, but who will object to seemingly benign, peaceful "normal" families who are just seeking "normal" suburban Americanesque living? . It is the creeping normalization of "military occupation" [1] that poses, in my eyes, a more insidious issue than overt acts of violence.

The aggressive sellers enable the theft of Palestinian lands, through pogroms and other violence against the native inhabitants. The "peaceful normal" ones must piggyback on the violent ones to do the dirty job for them. If you curb the aggression, you curb the means of illegal settling for both groups.
