In light of recent AI/LLM advances, I thought this review to be particularly exhaustive and compelling

See Watts, Blindsight (2006) for an exploration of the relation between consciousness and intelligence.
(personally, I believe intelligence allows modelling others, and the fact that we then —due to surplus of data?— then model ourselves is a side effect. Is this view consistent with the conclusions of TFA?)
