What's interesting to me is that the regular TV networks show the clip every day on the news.

They only show the leadup, not the actual stabbing, but you would think that they would not be permitted to show any of it at all, since it has been defined as "content that promotes or incites violence or is likely to cause offence to a reasonable person".

But no, it's shown every evening.

If I didn't know better, I would be inclined to think that the TV channels were trying to incite violence and cause offence.
