I think making a distinction between actual harms from AI such as their use in the medical and insurance industry, their biases and the sci-fi risks peddled by the EA/ longtermism cult. I'm fair more worried about these systems being too dump and causing harm than some intelligence explosion that's going to happen any second now. Just look at all the posts about Gemini telling people to eat rocks today.
