Potential factual correction: 1.5 billion seems to be underselling it considerably.

It says 1.5 billion in the second largest market, if that market is the UK then it seems realistic. I could be misinterpreting the sentence.
It's involvement in 1/5 of overdose deaths worldwide likely is (far) too high.
Also! Tho i assumed that meant it was laced with fentanyl etc, or coke was in their system but overdose was something else.
Yeah, so the reason they’re testing for cocaine is because that’s a test they have available. I doubt it was actually positive, they just needed something to write their paper of analyzing some preserved brain around
