Ask HN: How do you pick your AI devtool stack?

I want to improve my productivity with AI devtools but I don't know how to go about it. There are tons of solutions out there, I'd go crazy if I try all of them. There doesn't seem to be a consensus on forums. And I'm struggling to find content creators who will tell you which tool you should *not* bother looking into.

Anyone else having this problem? How do you go about picking the right service?
