It is a plesant insanity.

I regret not being able to find it again but a list of forbidden topics (that would ruin your career) was one day created by many users on usenet. Most were well known fasehoods.

I loved how people again and again can aquire a mindset that comes to opposite conclusions from everyone else. Then we hold onto authority to get rid of it. Often without real arguments while they might be abundantly available.
