The article doesn't mention them, but the keyboard and mouse felt super cheap, too. Light and flimsy and unpleasant.

But they were the same Apple Design Keyboard and ADB Mouse II that shipped with all of the other mid 90s macs though right?
It was a noticeable step down from the previous keyboards. Certainly not Apple's best.
Incredible as this might sound, I think the best keyboard Apple made was the Butterfly. It was fragile and unreliable, but it felt great and sounded crisp and precise.
