they have a right to their own country, if they need to adapt they'll find some way to adapt
Remove where the CEO was born from the statement. It is absolutely true that Japan is in the midst of a population crisis regardless of political, ethnic or socio-economic climate. It isn't because of some "obvious evil" or some Runaway problem". It's just the way it is in Japan, This was heralded in the 80s, 90s, 00s, 10s, and it is hitting hard now.
The japanese culture of saving face, civic sense, remaining quiet, will not fix this. That's not some damning problem indicative of japanese people. It's just descibing it the way it is.
Why would any executive, regardless of nationality, not be keenly aware of the major, major market/socio-economic challenges facing their segment?
What about this article is anyone, group etc. "forcing multiculturaism on non-settler societies"?

Start at what a country is optimizing for, and work backwards. Line go up is not the end all be all. Tokyo is promoting a 4 day week to improve life for workers to increase the birth rate. Improving living and working conditions domestically is potentially superior to importing immigrants as fuel for a misconfigured economic system.
And Japan is multicultural. You might be forgetting that different Asian cultures exist, or for some reason conflating "culture" with race and ethnicity. Much of what people consider to be "Japanese culture" originated in China or Korea, and that isn't even taking into account nearly a century of westernization.
Also no one is forcing anything onto anyone.
We’ve replaced worship of god (which may mean different things depending on your nationality) with the worship of money. And it’s only good for those with a lot of money.
