AI is a neutral primitive; a new type of compute. It will be applied in both positive & negative ways. Man I’m still deciding if the internet, as a whole, has been a net benefit to society & culture. Now we’ll need to figure that out for AI, too.

Genetics research, especially for more rare conditions with less traditional research funding, is one application where I can’t help but feel excitement.
