Incentives are all wrong.

As a consumer, I want immediate answers from the AI not visit another website.

As a website owner, I want people to come to my website. Not spend money sourcing data, and having it be stolen by AI Company, and repurposed.

What's the solution here? Perhaps company's can offer their data with a very explicit license that to show data sourced from my site you must present it in this way: X, Y, Z. Where it's like a mini embedded version of the site?

Whatever the solution, the incentive misalignment must be addressed sooner rather than later.
