Ask HN: What are your favorite sci-fi/fantasy novels?

I’m looking to read more fiction again and I’d love to hear your recommendations.

One of my all-time favorites was Metro 2033 so I really love anything cloak-and-dagger-ey.

But open to any recommendations!

They're classics, so you might have read them, but the Culture series and anything by Le Guin are top tier books.

The Culture books are often 'cloak and daggery', though I don't known anything about Metro 2033.
