Happy 20th birthday, YouTube! From a platform that once felt like a treasure trove of creativity to a glorified ad machine where genuine content gets buried under an avalanche of nonsense shit vulgar feeds from indian users,,destroying my day if i take a glimpse of youtube in morning, with someone posting pissing video on youtube and it gets recommemdrd on my feed early morning o open youtube and such vulgar video got imprinted in my memory cant rid of. Cheers to the nostalgia of a better time
you're absolutely right. it's been a long time since youtube had any value to our lives, which we no longer have nowadays :/
Even YouTube, at a time when everything was easier to get online, had a hard time attracting its audience. The people behind the scenes will never know how difficult it is to make things work and gain legs on their own, pointing fingers will always be easy for those who don't know our difficulties. But in the meantime, we need a lot of will, knowledge and money to keep us going
