The article is too obsessed with both educational elitism, and a bizarre more-equality-is-always-better attitude.
Should I break up with a woman if we realize that our net worths differ by more than 5%? How about our Elo (chess) ratings? Our heights? Our ages? Our hair or skin colors?
Of course this only analyzes comparative credentials which is hardly a comparison of intellectual/financial equality in marriages.
