So I launched my streetwear brand about 6 months ago (not gonna name it here cuz I don't wanna be that guy), but the naming process was... rough. Picture this: Me, sitting with a notebook for WEEKS, writing down random words, combining them, asking friends, family, even strangers at coffee shops what they thought. My girlfriend got so tired of me asking "what about this name?" that she started ignoring my texts I went through probably 200+ potential names. Half of them had taken domains, the other half either sounded like medical conditions or were already trademarked by some massive corporation. Then last week I was helping a friend who's starting her own jewelry line, and I stumbled across this clothing brand name generator: https://namegator.net/clothing-brand-name-generator/ Honestly? I'm a little bitter I didn't find this earlier lol. What makes it different from the generic name generators:

Actually understands fashion terminology (not just random word combinations) Generates names that sound like real brands you'd see in stores Shows domain availability instantly (this alone would've saved me hours) Has different style categories - streetwear, luxury, casual, etc.

I ran it just for fun with some keywords related to my brand, and it generated 3-4 names that were legitimately better than what I spent months coming up with. One of them even had the .com available The AI suggestions actually sound brandable, not like someone just smashed dictionary words together. My friend ended up using one of the generated names for her jewelry line and she's super happy with it. Much better than my "ask everyone you know" strategy. For anyone starting a fashion brand: seriously, check this out before you go down the naming rabbit hole I did. Could save you months of overthinking. What's the weirdest name you considered for your brand? Mine was "Concrete Whispers" - don't ask me what I was thinking
