NetNewsWire will choke out on you if you have a large number of feeds, because of the way it is designed.

Launch NetNewsWire and don’t close it until the sync is complete. If you close it before the sync is complete, you will have to start all over again
Yeah, that's not going to be a workable solution for me. I wish they would stop using iCloud and switch to a different provider that didn't have those limitations.
