Firms are blaming AI for job cuts. Critics say it's a 'good excuse'

For every employee that sent up crappy work in the past, but the manager was too delicate to deal with it, this is the perfect "excuse" to trim the ranks. I think AI/LLM provides the perfect cover for this downsizing.
