An executive order overriding state laws? Ridiculous. Are we not a republic? Flout that order ASAP.
States have absolutely no business regulating AI. Neither do the Feds, for that matter, but that's a harder sell.

In general, we should stop trying to turn the US into the EU. If you want to live under EU rules, move.
