Sarah McLachlann on her (IIRC) Mirrorball CD released an interactive piece of graphic art that led to Easter Eggs like an extra song and some behind-the-scenes video. From it I learned that The Most Important Part of hyperlinks was that your cursor changes shape when hovering over them - because her page didn't do that.

this captures the early of excitement of hypertext in a cool way. seeing the technology through Deena Larsen's eyes is a trip. To her it was a way to be more experimental in expressing her research, and a new way of writing poetry. Must have been quite exciting to make Marble Springs in 1993.
This is a pretty weak HTML conversion; Client-side image maps have been a feature in HTML since 1996.
So, not available until 3 years after the site was made?
I thought the original Hypercard deck was made in 1993, but the HTML site was made much later.
