Consequently, the author seems to be very concerned with where, for example, Alfred Cortot made mistakes when playing Chopin's Preludes live.

I am glad that, as a musician and pianist myself, I am not under the same enormous pressure as classical musicians, but can simply enjoy both my playing and my recordings and not care about mistakes.
