Unilateral action, particularly after hostile interaction, tends to be a “you broke it, you fix it” kind of thing. If the US had interacted with and convinced the UN or NATO as to the reasoning and plan for Iran, things might have been different. But those guys aren’t interested in such mundane actions I guess.
Somebidy convinced ol' bonespurs this would be a good idea, win him accolations, maybe a peace prize as well. Being the dunce he is with no analytical ability, sense of historical precedence, nor a fucking clue how to organize, plan, conduct, or concluded a war, he bit. Immediately, he was over his head and, having already alieniated all the friends the US had, found himself drowning. But he couldn't drown alone so he's taking the entire country down with him. The only thing we know for sure is that he will claim it's Joe Biden's fault.
He's already talking about "taking Cuba".
