I've flown the Perth London nonstop route and purely personally as a non scientific sample of 1 I prefer a break mid journey. (Quite aside from the break flying over to Perth from the east)
I am sure there is a market for this service from the east coast. I'm not it, and I wouldn't pay the proposed 20% premium to do it.
I've done other long flights like the transpolar route Australia to south America and these long flights are hard.
