Ask HN: Does taste matter when writting code
Taste is valued as a scarce resource as AI gains ground. I totally believe that when designing and writing an essay, human dimension and taste matter. Does it matter for coding?

Judgement and discernment matter in most knowledge work. Code smell is a real thing.
Taste is the differentiator. AI is a multiplier, garbage in garbage out.
