Is that the reason why you just blocked a post I made on git commands? What was the issue with that? Too much knowledge?

Mods generally don't specifically block either comments or submissions. Flags are applied by other HN users, or occasionally automatically by software.

I'm not sure what "post" you refer to as, with "showdead" enabled, I see no dead or flagged submissions within the past 10 days (there's one from 11 days ago, though not pertaining to Git), and no flagged comments save the one in this thread for the past 8 days.

If you have a specific concern, email the mods and include the item URL / identifiere in your email: hn@ycombinator.com.

(I'm not a mod nor HN/YC myself.)

No you are not, or you would know much of what you posted is not true.

Responding to a moderation comment with a hostile ("too much knowledge?") accusation about something entirely different is generally a poor way to react. If you have a separate question, that's fine, but firing back with it instead of addressing the original issue is not the sort of thing that users do when they genuinely want to use HN as intended.

The issue with your other post, as far as I can tell from the logs since you deleted the comment, was that our software classified it as genai. That's not allowed on HN - see https://news.ycombinator.com/newsguidelines.html#generated and https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=47340079.

Wrongly classified then...I have never been accused on the same post, of my human faults and my genai qualities.
