Is it refusing to try?

High Intelligence just seems to be speed of cognition. This isn’t a race. Smart people will never reach the answer if they never bother taking up the question. Sometimes smart people are so busy doing smart things that they don’t bother with the everyday questions like: is the work I’m doing a net benefit to the world? Is the work I’m doing actually harming humans at a large scale?

Willful ignorance is the most dangerous thing in the world.
