I am working on a Developer Inbox open source platform to create Email Client using existing API based email infra like resent, sendgrid etc to manage early startups's custom email conversation.

Starting with resend and will add support for other platform soon.

So, It's like AI SDK, but for email providers? I'd like that!

All of us attach to a given client until we see that their pricing is going up or that a better solution exists. Then, you want to just switch the provider, not your code that sends the transactional emails, etc.. I'd use your tool

Thanks, I am starting up with a web version then later also expose it as SDK which any LLM can make use to keep listening/managing email by its own using our SDK.

First version will be out by this Weekend.

You are making a clone of Gmail that uses resent or sendgrid as the backend??? How wrong is my guess?

Not exactly The goal isn't to build another Gmail.

It's for developers already using Resend, SES, SendGrid, etc. to send application emails. When a customer replies, they can receive and continue that conversation in Developer Inbox—without having to pay for Google Workspace/Outlook just for a mailbox.

Still very early, so I'm trying to validate whether this is actually useful.
