I take no position on the algorithm, I don't have enough context or subject matter expertise to speak authoritatively on the topic. My point is a single person can only care about so much, and can exhaust their compassion reserve. Can't be a passionate, engaged activist about everything.

Good. Because it seems pretty obvious that the algorithm profoundly influences awareness.
You say obvious but provide no citations or data. “Some people say” or “it’s obvious” is not a sufficient foundation for an assertion.
