Well, it falsified my intuitive guess that more unauthorized immigration might decrease crime because there are more people who risk deportation if they are caught.
It did, except for robberies in high unauthorized immigrant neighborhoods.

Somehow City crime rates went up though.

Did you read anything more than the title of the paper which evaluated statistics through 2018?
There are tens of thousands of "unauthorized" immigrants in prison right now for crimes. Seems like that's some kind of link.

Your point makes no sense. Are you denying there are tens of thousands of illegal aliens in U.S. prisons for crimes?
