Yep, the almighty nuclear plants that everybody says that can't fail, can be closed by life beings. Is known since many years.

I assume that is Craspedacusta (I may be wrong). Better than zebra mussels in any case.

Sounds like we got an expert on functional safety in our midst.

This seems like a graceful degradation, not an outright failure or closure.

The problem will fix itself in winter, but new blooms will happen sporadically while temperatures remain high.
