I think so. Corruption and useless grifters will set us back decades. Punishment for really corrupt ethical lapses must have an independent review mechanism (not peers) and penalties. We should endeavor to push real crooks towards the clink and promote ethical individuals by all manner of social, political, economic, and so on means.
