National healthcare is good!
But narrowly targeting a specific economic activity, seemingly arbitrarily, when that same econsonomic acitivity also provides employment to the poorer segment of the population makes no sense!
Disagree.
The spectrum of potential economic contribution by the population is too wide to give a humane life to everyone. So it is moral to provide a baseline because the unborn do not get to decide what body or family or life they get born into.

I think you misunderstand capitalism. One of the main moral premises that capitalism is built on is self-ownership and voluntary exchange. You are not the property of others. You can own things. Others can’t coerce you and vice versa.

So it is moral to provide a baseline because… and voluntary exchange. Others can’t coerce you and vice versa.
You can’t pay someone willing to work for $1 an hour but we believe in voluntary exchange and no one can coerce you.
