The spectrum of potential economic contribution by the population is too wide to give a humane life to everyone. So it is moral to provide a baseline because the unborn do not get to decide what body or family or life they get born into.

I think you misunderstand capitalism. One of the main moral premises that capitalism is built on is self-ownership and voluntary exchange. You are not the property of others. You can own things. Others can’t coerce you and vice versa.
