what? they remove the manager of one thingy?
Fascinating how 37signals has fantastic output as a company but suffers from an emotionally-inept founder.
Care to expand on this with some factual examples?
Not the person you're replying to, but I'll take a stab at it, while trying my hardest to keep my reply factual and devoid of personal opinion or attacks.

David Heinemeier Hansson is a self-admitted racist. The evidence for this is a post he wrote entitled "As I remember London," which I won't link to but which contains clear statements that he believes that white people are superior to non-white people.

When called out about his beliefs, I have never seen him apologize or even attempt to offer actual fact-based justifications of his beliefs; instead he tends to dig in by doing things like analysis of sentiment about his opinions on Twitter, where the overall severe upward trend in racism fools him into thinking that a majority of people think like him.

All of the above shows an inability to engage with others in an emotionally-aware or emotionally-intelligent way.

(Note: I'm assuming that the original commenter refers to DHH, but I will point out that he is not in fact a founder of 37Signals.)

How does the company do worse with him? (Also, it’s two founders I believe).
Do you have examples of emotionally able founders?
Craig Newmark and Warren Buffett are two that come to mind.
Craig has done materially more to enrich those that helped him to success. In a world full of recapped tables and greedy founders more should follow his lead.
I assume we are talking about DHH here? You're giving him too much credit. He is not a founder of 37 signals.
