ShowHN: Server optimization recipes

I've started to put together a collection of server/service-specific optimization guides.

Currently I've just covered nginx and tweaks applied to the GNU/Linux kernel networking subsection.

Is there any interest in something like this? Other than apache, varnish, glusterfs, etc, what would you like to see covered?
