Ask HN: What's up with HN slowdown, mixpanel analytics to blame?

Okay, my first clue was the CSS file didn't load, oh well no biggie.

But Firebug didn't report a 404 or any other error.

Oh well, I can read the headlines no problem.

Finally, next day I notice mixpanel.com in my status bar while waiting (and waiting) for the CSS to load.

Any chance they could speed up their response?
