They cannot force me to do anything. Even assuming I didn’t have all the blocker plugins I do, if I’d have to watch more than 10s of ads to see something, I’d just not watch it.

I don’t buy tech books. Ever.
If I want to learn a language I’ll go straight to code (find any simple project to do with it). It’s my way of doing it. Might not be the best, but it works for me.…

Works on iOS, but the final dot (after the ai) MUST be there. So it must be exactly:
“ http://ai . ” EDIT: It will also depend on your DNS server apparently. I use Cloudflare’s.…

I use Keynote. It is beyond good (for my needs anyway).

French here, I recently read the original description of the game from an original edition of the game when I went to a friend’s old place, and I was laughing out loud for real.

Most operators do cellular over wifi now (because 4G/5G sucks indoor). Not all of them though.

And is there a way to tell GitHub _not_ to analyse repos that I own?

I spend my life in git. I never ever had to just erase everything and clone again. I do not see a situation where it would be needed honestly.

If I’m not mistaken (but I very well might be), that’s true for the SSD too with the M1. The controller of the SSD is a part of the M1 chip; it’s not separate as with traditional SSD. @marcan42 tweete…

This has nothing to do with RAM though. macOS does this when _disk space_ is low, not RAM.

I never said I wanted lightning enforced though.
I’m talking about evolution of the design of the plug, not its software specs.
comment
It wasn’t needed. There are no benefits of usb-c over lightning for the usage it has. It’s not an evolution it’s a change.
comment
Lightning is a far superior plug than usb-c (don’t tell me about data transfer, I don’t care, I care about the durability and ease of plugging of the plug itself), I have MANY lightning cables (that I…

Except for the millions of lightning cable already in prod?

The very very few times I allow yt video to play (in private nav only), if I ever see an ad I just reload the page until the ad is gone. It works (but I watch like 1 video every 6 month, so YMMV).

Yes, for a project used internally in my company, 300k rows per week. So far it’s going great. If things get too slow I’ll migrate to Postgres.
