Interesting! I tried Zed too, and not knowing Sublime , I switched to it instead after a while… I’m not sure why though. I do not have the issue you do, but Sublime feels better.

I don’t think adding things to markdown is a good way to go. Markdown is just a poor language, period. Alternatives like Asciidoc make much more sense IMHO.

The tooling is getting better and better, thankfully. Just recently they published their official VSCode extension on open-vsx for instance. It’s getting usable now!
