Logic has been $200 for a while. Even though Logic uses Audio Unit plugins, I don't think there is really any substitute for physical hardware. You can get this to run a project on the cheap, b…

This looks great. The pitch correction tools are gonna make it a lot easier for that pop singers to sound great even if they aren't. I also REALLY like the iPad remote feature.

Holy crap. Codeception, now I can write in one language and run in every language :)

Since GitHub charges based on a monthly subscription, you can't have an app that charges for a service without going though Apple's In-App Purchase program.

Are you trying to learn Objective-C alone or learn Objective-C and also how to build an iOS app? I know Apple has a ton of resources (videos, documentation, sample code) for almost everything you can…

You know what's funny? I had the same feeling when I was working with Jason Long who designed the git-scm.com logo [1]. I asked if he could help me design a logo for http://gitignore…

Yeah I had the same problem. If I'm going to be in DDG but most of my searches are on Google, what's the point of me using DDG?

I used DDG for two months and as a developer trying to find the latest bugs, code snippets, and help; It was a lot harder on DDG than in Google. I would always end up having to type google.com <ta…

Hehe, I used to work at a place where it seemed like the only purpose of a meeting was to schedule another meeting at the end.

Thanks for the link to this library. It seems like I would still need to implement a lot of features like login, but it's a great start.

Does anyone know of an OSS alternative to this similar to http://helios.io/ that supports Android/iOS?

I haven't looked into it but it may be cheaper. That being said, both Parse and Azure support more platforms than this offering. I think that even Firebase has an service in this space as well.

Everyone knows Apple's iPhone release schedule so wouldn't that make sense?

AHHH! I was just in Atlanta looking for something like this two weeks ago. In San Francisco, it's easy--just hit SOMA. Thanks for the link.

I agree with this. I think that even products that aren't core to a business could be open-sourced. Twitter is a great example of open-sourcing code that is not critical to their core business.…
