I don't know if I should be happy or terrified that I know and use these tips on a daily basis. I'm just starting out as a UI front-end guy after years of solid backend work.

It seems a simple script to tally all `:checked` elements using jQuery is too much for this blog to handle.

When working on ASP.Net MVC pages I use Visual Studio because really, what else can I use realistically? It's fantastic and I love the tools and helpers it gives me. For Rails I use Sublime Text 2, no…

Completely agree with you. Last week I worked 17 hour days, combining my day job and my freelance jobs (2) and I will never do that again if I can help it. It broke my sleep schedule (which is fix…

Loving it. The page loads much quicker now and looks cleaner. The main focus on the site is now the video and comments. Well done!

Windows 8 isn't available for sale, for some reason. I don't know why. I can download a Windows 7 pirated version easily in 7 hours, I doubt network speeds are the culprit here.

Point in case, I've been trying to buy Windows 8 in Bolivia for the past three weeks and STILL can't buy it legally anywhere. Every option has been exhausted and I'm kind of annoyed. I wanted to ditch…

Your distortion field is so concentrated! You realize the Mac OSX has been out for quite some time, while Windows 8 has barely a few months in the market, right? I think it's time you clean out your f…

I prefer BitBucket because it's not as expensive and really really solid. Not one problem in over 3 years using it.

For me it has nothing to do with being open source or aligned with the "free" philosophy. I don't like IE because it makes my job harder without any real reason. Why can't it update automatically and …

C# was my first programming language and no doubt what caused me to love my trade. I wish Mr. Lippert the best of luck and I hope he finds happiness and new found direction in this new transition.

I'm a software developer and I find it hard to use. The documentation isn't so great. If "I" find it hard, imagine what a layman would feel like? I don't think Github pages is easy to use.
