It's been ages since I last tried Blender, is it still unusable without a numpad?

GNAT was too late to the party.

That's a decade too late.

I don't think there's much difference between C and C++ (and Rust, etc...) when it comes to this.

VGA was pretty common on 286, I even had an SVGA card on my own back in the day. And it also had protected mode but was still 16-bit.

Would such old hardware even be able to run a modern browser needed for this?

Haven't those patents expired by now?

Enemy Territory: Quake Wars used an earlier version of it but only for the terrain. I think Rage was the first to use it for everything.

The PS1 doesn't an FPU but got a version of Quake 2, so it's possible. That said, it was somewhat different from the PC version, so it could be argued that it's not the same game.

Didn't they make the game free? Or was that just UT99?

Yeah that part didn't make sense, not to mention that neither the PS3 nor the 360 were running 64-bit software. They didn't have enough memory for it to be worth it.

No, they're good. Otherwise new people wouldn't be learning and using them.

You can tell it not to reorder them if you want but it's not the default.

It was already there in the original Mac, and is probably older than that.

VGA was still fundamentally planar, just like EGA. It was just mode 13h that presented a chunky API. IIRC the other modes were all planar.

How so? What platforms were excluded by the use of Rust?
