Based on my time with Arch, I’d agree. The fact is bugs exist even given N amount of time to find them, what matters is how quickly they are fixed - and it doesn’t get much faster than Arch.

I bought a “cheap” ($100 at the time) USB3 bluray player and it ripped discs fine - even on Linux. I believe MakeMKV has you install the necessary libraries for decrypting.
