My understanding is that viral load is always a factor for every virus. Laboratories don't use soap and water, because they want to kill 100% of the viral particles, not 99.9%. They work with sam…

Is there any way a random HN reader could help? I wish my country do more tests.

vehicles killed more than WW2. Coal kills more than Chernobyl, but our instincts are bad in assessing risks like that.

you don't want it random. You want to add a splay .e.g # add a random value (from 0 to X) to the timeout # This can be used to prevent the thundering herd problem splay = "5s"

That's why I go to gym at least 3 times a week. I build muscle to increase my "static" calories burn - and obviously burn calories while lifting weight. I kicked sugar as well.

Maybe a warning like on a cigarette pack could help? e.g. "spending more than 15% of your income on a car can lead to a financial ruin". Warning on cigarettes reduced smoking by a few percen…

I'd like to see some more granular status e.g. out of 15k cases 1000 are 25-35 years old males that were healthy. The survivability rate is X for that group.

I disagree. If one generator fails, it's not a big problem. If you have a failure in a large reactor it's a biggie, so you have to use very expensive materials and design to avoid failure.

I'm not sure how do you mean. You get economy of scale by saving in costs gained by an increased level of production. It's cheaper to create 100 widgets for 100 small reactors in 10 locatio…
